Professional Beauty Group runs market-leading business magazines, websites and events under the Aesthetic Medicine, Professional Beauty and World Spa & Wellness brands.

Our key audience includes aesthetic clinics, doctors, dentists, nurses, media spa and clinic owners and beauty therapists.

We’re looking for an intern to work with the editorial and content team across our market-leading magazines, websites, social media channels and events. 

You’ll learn about how the magazines, websites, awards, exhibitions and conferences are run and learn from our small, friendly team of experienced beauty journalists.

Key activities:

• Writing news and blogs for web and print 
• Proofreading
• Uploading content for the websites
• Social media posts and projects
• Liaising with clients, PRs and conference speakers
• Keeping databases updated
• General admin and office support
• Attending launches and events
  
  

Ideal candidate:

• A degree in a relevant subject such as English, journalism or media
• Strong organisational skills and a meticulous eye for detail
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Strong writing and editing skills
• Creative and willing to put forward ideas
• Confident on the phone and in face-to-face meetings
• Numeracy and an ability to analyse statistics
• Competency using software programmes including Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint
• Experience of content management systems and Indesign a bonus but not essential

This is an ongoing opportunity. Both start dates and internship durations are flexible.
