Energist launches new Neogen EVO plasma device
Energist has released the latest addition to its range of clinically proven plasma devices, the Neogen Evo.
Designed to provide results of a fully ablative treatment but with the safety and healing profile of a non-ablative treatment, settings can be customised to meet each individual patient’s needs and requirements with available treatment options ranging from “pain free, no downtime” to the equivalent of a fully ablative treatment.
The energy delivered by the device is non-fractional and non-chromophore dependent for its uptake. The treated photo-damaged layers undergo a controlled thermal modification which creates a natural dressing to provide protection and speed up healing. At low energy the technology works on wrinkles, stretch marks, pre-cancerous lesions and reducing pore sizes as well as to treat oral infections.
At a higher energy, acne scarring, malasma, severe wrinkles, scars, pigmentation and photo-damaged skin are all treated.
Plastic surgeons Mr Paul Banwell and Mr Ali Juma, dermatologist Dr Nisith Sheth and Professor Syed Haq will be using the treatment in their clinics.
