Learn about bioidentical hormones at Aesthetic Medicine North

Bioidentical hormone replacement is the latest field in anti-ageing medicine and it is rapidly growing in prominence across the globe. Dr Martin Kinsella, creator of the Bio ID system, thinks that there has never been a more opportune time to introduce the therapy into your clinic.

According to research, about 80% of women suffer from some kind of hormonal imbalance, often resulting in poor physical and psychological health. And it’s not just females at risk; men with hormone deficiencies (low-level testosterone or high-level oestrogen) can find their bodies and quality of life negatively impacted too with poor sleep, lack of libido and weight gain, for example.

Born of his long-held interest in the influence hormones have over the body, mind and general wellbeing, Dr Kinsella travelled the globe building his knowledge and skills in the field of bioidentical hormones, which are – unlike conventional replacements – molecularly identical to those the body produces naturally. He will be sharing his knowledge on the subject and discussing integrating hormone therapies into your aesthetics practice at Aesthetic Medicine North on Saturday October 20 as part of the “Make your practice a centre of excellence” session.

The CPD-accredited session will be chaired by Dr Ash Dutta (chair) with other speakers including Dr Anna Hemming, Dr Alex Karkhi, Dr Daniel Sister and Martyn Roe.
