Polynucleotide distributor announces the rebranding of Ameela, formally known as Nucleadyn

The first-to-market and longest-running polynucleotide distributor, Amedica has announced the rebranding of its injectable polymerised polynucleotide range, Ameela, formally known as Nucleadyn. The rebranding will take place from June 20, across all regions.

Amedica has been operating for the past 10 years, placing it at the forefront of the global market for injectable polynucleotide skin treatments.

The decision to rebrand Nucleadyn to Ameela has been in the wake of an influx of brands into the polynucleotide market, and an ever-growing demand for these treatments. It acknowledges the previous confusion between Nucleadyn and another brand, as well as a desire from the company to differentiate from the rest of the products on the market.

Aside from marketing and name associations, nothing else will change, with all product formulations, indications, and the portfolio of case studies and clinical data staying the same.
