Transform Medical Group has been bought out of administration by German-listed investment group Aurelius Group.
The Manchester-based cosmetic surgery chain, which employs 400 staff and has 26 clinics and two hospitals around the UK, entered administration on 30 June 2015. Martin Armstrong and James Patchett of Turpin Barker Armstrong were appointed joint administrators.
A Transform spokesman said, "We can confirm that as of July 1, the ownership of Transform transferred to Aurelius Group. This change of ownership will result in a financial restructuring of the business."
Transform hit the headlines in January 2012 over the issue of defective poly implant prostheses (PIP) implants used in breast enlargement procedures.
