AM North reunited the aesthetics industry in Manchester
Aesthetic Medicine North returned last Saturday as the only conference and trade show for aesthetics in the North. After a very successful AM Live in July, AM North reunited 479 professionals, suppliers and distributors all under one roof.

Clinical conference
The clinical conference gave the opportunity for delegates to gain new perspectives and make valuable connections. The programme featured multiple sessions on dermal fillers for the face, bringing you up to date with our faculty’s latest clinical experiences and advice on injection techniques and facial assessment. Expert speakers and KOLs covered topics such as anatomy, combination treatments and non-surgical buttock augmentation. This year’s speaker faculty included Mr Arturo Almeida, Dr Raj Thethi, Tracey Dennison, Mr Ali Ghanem, Amanda Wilson, Dr Martyn King, Dr Uche Aniagwu, Dr Pradnya Apte, Dr Martin Kinsella, Anna Baker and Sara Cheeney.
Tips from leading clinic owners and coaches
The business workshops offered visitors immediate improvements to take back to their clinic or aesthetic business. Sessions included: True wealth from aesthetics with Phil Elder and How to build (and keep) a million pound clinic, whatever the world throws at you with Alan Adams.
British Association of Hair Restoration Surgery Conference
Aesthetic Medicine North was delighted to partner with the British Association of Hair Restoration Surgery (BAHRS) for its annual meeting, bringing more education for trichologists and hair transplant surgeons. This year’s meeting was attended by anyone offering or looking to offer surgical and non-surgical hair restoration treatments within their business.
HA-Derma Workshops
Adrian Baker, Anna Baker and Dr Raphael Mohammed spoke for Headline Sponsor HA-Derma at its workshops. Workshop 1 was an introduction to the four pillars of the IBSA Derma portfolio – prevention, correction, volumisation and regeneration – while Workshop 2 showcased demonstrations of how to successfully combine mesotherapy, skinboosters, dermal fillers and biomodelling for results-driven treatment plans.
ICAN Mini Conference
For the first time, Aesthetic Medicine North partnered with the International College of Aesthetic Nurses (ICAN), designed exclusively for nursing professionals in aesthetic medicine, founded by independent nurse prescriber Amanda Wilson.
