Session summary: Injectables are the bread and butter of most aesthetic clinics and, as the industry has evolved, so has the breadth and depth of the indications and techniques with which injectables are administered. This session will explore advanced injection techniques and topics relating to providing them safely in your practice and will include live demonstrations throughout.

 

Speakers:

Jackie Partridge is an award-winning, experienced nurse, advanced practitioner and trainer, who has specialised in all aspects of skin care, after qualifying from Lothian College of Nursing and Midwifery in 1994. She provides training for doctors, dentists and nurses on both botulinum toxin and dermal filler treatments on behalf of aesthetic pharmaceutical companies such as Allergan and Galderma.

Mr Amin Kalaaji is currently a consultant plastic surgeon and has been clinic chief at Oslo Plastic Surgery Clinic in Norway for the last fourteen years. He has published many peer-reviewed scientific papers and has presented more than 120 lectures, courses and invited speaker lectures in Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery worldwide. He currently serves on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Plastic Surgery and Hand Surgery as well as participating as faculty in Global Aesthetic courses for the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS).

Nick Lowe is an internationally renowned consultant dermatologist with more than 30 years’ experience. He is acknowledged as a leading expert in dermatology and skin and is a fellow of the British and American College of Physicians and American Board of Dermatology and American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery.

Dr Aamer Khan is co-founder of Harley Street Skin Clinic and has spent more than 15 years in the aesthetic industry. Known for his expertise in cosmetic rejuvenation techniques and his natural-looking results. He is a highly experienced injector of dermal fillers and botulium toxin and specialises in non-surgical face and body procedures.

Professor Mukta Sachdev is a globally recognised skin of colour expert and is one of the leading practicing dermatologists in India and is one of the founding members of the International School of Lasers, Dermatology and Aesthetics (ISLDA). Her academic expertise spans across editing and contributing chapters in textbooks and journals.

Dr Tapan Patel is a medical director of the PHI Clinic, London. He has specialised in cosmetic dermatology for the last fifteen years and is a respected KOL travelling around the globe lecturing on aesthetic treatments. He was voted Speaker of the Year in 2013 and was listed in Tatler’s Top 30 Anti-Ageing Experts.

Anna Baker is a cosmetic and dermatology nurse practitioner. With a keen interest in facial anatomical dissection, Anna holds a post-graduate certificate in Applied Clinical Anatomy – specialising in head and neck anatomy and contributes anatomical articles to a number of aesthetic journals.

Dr Benji Dhillon is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons and has spent time training in plastic surgery. He was medical director for EMEA for Allergan, overseeing their aesthetics portfolio. He has been involved in numerous clinical studies involving dermal fillers, and presented on their use and safety at various international meetings and congresses.

Apul Parikh is currently an international trainer for Botox and Dermal Fillers as well as certain surgical procedures, like mole removal, having had extensive training over twelve years in plastic and cosmetic surgery and accumulating vast knowledge on anatomy and the ageing process. Mr. Parikh is also a member of the European Advisory Board for Cellfina and has a specialist interest in hair restoration surgery and liposuction.
