ASKINOLOGY recruiting for new positions including front of house staff

Award-winning clinic ASKINOLOGY has a number of positions available at its London City location from part time front of house to full time treating assistant manager.

Who are we?

ASKINOLOGY is the UK’s first (and award winning) facial and makeup bar in the city of London near Bank and Liverpool St stations. Across 3 levels, we also house a cosmeceutical boutique and a 3 room laser and aesthetic clinic.

ASKINOLOGY is the brain child of Dr Askari Townshend, one of the leading cosmetic doctors and trainers in the UK and a regular speaker at national conferences. Dr Askari is passionate about training and the ASKINOLOGY team receive training (including 121) from Dr Askari himself.

Just coming up to our first birthday, we are already expanding and are looking forward to an exciting year ahead with our eyes on more awards!

What do we do?

We are passionate about all things skin and are not your usual salon or clinic. Our team are multitalented which also means that their days are varied and interesting.

Our cosmeceutical boutique stocks SkinCeuticals, Medik8, ZO & Neostrata. Our makeup range is Jane Iredale mineral makeup. You don’t have to have experience with these brands as training will be provided but it would be desirable.

Our facial bar offers a range of facials and gentle peels. Key to our offering is the makeup bar where customers can have their makeup applied after treatment. An interest in makeup and willingness to improve your skills will be important to working in the facial bar.

In the laser clinic, we offer a range of treatments including laser hair removal, fractional laser for scarring and texture problems, IPL for broken veins and sun spots, radio frequency, dermaroller and peels. And we are soon to introduce a new bodyshaping system!

We have a selection of roles available from part time front of house to full time treating assistant manager – for the right candidate, different options can be considered.

 

What skills/qualifications/qualities do you need?

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to give amazing customer service, no matter what
• Very well presented
• Passion for skin, beauty and makeup
• 100% team player with fantastic work ethic, wanting to become the best you can be
• Good commercial awareness and comfort with working to targets
• Experience in Lasers, radio frequency, microneedling, cryolipolysis, makeup and advanced skin treatments is desirable but not essential
• A minimum of 1 years’ experience within either an Aesthetics, Day Spa, Beauty Counter or Salon environment.
