FDA approval for Galderma’s new Sculptra label

Galderma has announced US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approval of a new label for Sculptra .

The label includes higher dilution, the addition of immediate use reconstitution, new injection techniques and the optional addition of lidocaine. These changes provide aesthetic injectors with even more options to administer Sculptra safely and effectively. Sculptra is the first and only injectable poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) to be FDA-approved.
