Jonathan Cheban talks about 3D-skinmed at Professional Beauty London

The 3D-skinmed stand at Professional Beauty London was swamped this weekend with press and fans eager to get a glimpse of TV star Jonathan Cheban who was visiting the show after having had the treatment with The Banwell Clinic the day before. Editor of Aesthetic Medicine magazine, Vicky Eldridge, and assistant editor of Professional Beauty magazine, Georgia Seago, caught up with him and 3D-skinmed's managing director Roy Cowley to find out why he is the latest celebrity advocate of the non-invasive facial rejuvenation device...

Aesthetic Medicine/Professional Beauty: What was it that motivated you to have the 3D-skinmed treatment?

Jonathan Cheban: “I’m always looking for new techniques. People count on me to tell them about new stuff – whether it is treatments like this or hot restaurants. I love it when I hear about new things and especially new technology – I love to go and try it."

AM/PB: We hear you had the treatment with Paul Banwell at the Banwell Clinic yesterday?

Roy Cowley, 3D-skinmed: “The Banwell Clinic are a real advocate of ours. Paul Banwell trialled the device for us and he wouldn’t recommended it unless he was 100% happy with it.”

Jonathan Cheban: “He’s great, it’s really cool there, I Iike that whole centre.”

AM/PB: How was the treatment?

Jonathan Cheban: “I just had the treatment done so I don’t know what the results will be like yet but I do know that I’m not red, which is great for me. We did the treatment on the first day I was here and I was worried as I had appearances and last night I had to host a club for my birthday. There have also been so many photographers during the day, so I was really happy there was no redness afterwards.”

 

AM/PB: Was there a part of the treatment you particularly enjoyed?

Jonathan Cheban: “I love the way it feels. It is almost like a massage to be honest with you. It is really comfortable, I literally didn’t feel any discomfort at all. It feels so good I could have slept there. If there wasn’t a camera there I definitely would have fallen asleep!”
