Preliminary business workshop programme for Aesthetic Medicine North announced

While the aesthetics industry has its roots firmly in the realm of medicine, the growth and specialist nature of the market has meant that it has also become a thriving commercial sector and, as such, practitioners have had to become business people as well as clinicians. With this in mind we will be hosting a series of Business Workshops across the two days. Catering for both novice and experienced business owners, you will be able to hear from business consultants as well as successful clinic owners who will share their tips and tricks for growing your practice. Topics covered will include:

Northern Stars – Clinic Owner’s Panel:

Clinic owners from the North and Scotland share their tips for running a successful practice as part of our Clinic Owners Panel

Social Media Marketing:

Want to know how to make social media work for your business? This workshop will explore the best channels for aesthetic practices to use; the types and frequency of posts you should be doing to yield the best results and what not to do.

It’s Complicated – Managing Complications from a Business Point of View:

We all know the importance of managing complications from a clinical perspective, but there are implications to your business too. With the recent EU requirement for signposting for complaints and newly launched redress schemes we explore the different ways you can deal with and lessen the impact of complaints in your business, from negative online reviews to irate phone calls and legal action.

Web Workshop:

Your website is often the first port of call for potential new clients but is it really user-friendly enough and is it enticing them to book an appointment with you? Find out how you can maximise client attraction through your website in this workshop.

Growing Your Aesthetics Practice – How to Take Your Clinic to the Next Level:

You’ve built a successful aesthetics business but now you want to take it to the next level. Whether this is going into aesthetics full-time, buying your first solo clinic or moving to larger premises; hear from successful business owners and advisors about growing and expanding your practice and how to navigate the challenges you may face along the way

Playing by the Rules – Navigating the Aesthetic Advertising Minefield:

With the new GMC guidelines in place and the ASA clamping down on misleading advertising, how do you make sure you are playing by the rules when it comes to advertising and marketing your aesthetic services? Find out at this workshop.

Capital Considerations:

There are many decisions to be made when buying capital equipment for your clinic. Following on from the morning’s clinical agenda on Monday September 19, this afternoon business workshop will explore choosing the right equipment for your practice as well as how to market it and get a return on your investment.

Business workshops can be attended by conference delegates for free or booked individually, for those not attending the conference at a cost of £10. Specific time slots will be announced within the next week. In order to register as a conference delegate, log in with your badge number and upgrade your membership.

You can register for a free ticket to the exhibition here: www.aestheticmed.co.uk/northreg
