Aesthetic Source launches NeoStrata ProSystem Retinol Peel

NeoStrata ProSystem Retinol Peel is the newest addition to the NeoStrata ProSystem peel portfiolio.

Generating impressive, clinically-proven results, this advanced superficial peel reduces fine lines, wrinkles and blemishes, improves skin laxity and promotes a bright, even and clear complexion.

The peel can be applied to the face, chest and hands – all areas that commonly feature photo-damage. 3% retinol teamed with the Retinol Boosting Complex™ contributes to epidermal exfoliation and thickening, due to an increase in fibroblast growth, which promotes collagen production, resulting in clear, plump and firm skin. Bridging the gap between glycolic acid peels and TCA, the physician-only peel is ideal for professionals who don’t regularly peel.

The NeoStrata Retinol Peel is easy to perform, and does not require neturalisation or post-peel attention.

KEY INGREDIENTS

• 3% retinol - A derivative of vitamin A that minimises fine lines and wrinkles, improves the texture of the skin and diminishes dark spots.
• NeoCitrate® - Enhances collagen, strengthens the skin’s matrix, plumps and provides anti-ageing, smoothing effects.
• Aminofill® – A patented amino acid derivative that increases volume by enhancing collagen and hyaluronic acid to plump, firm and smooth lines and wrinkles.
• Bisabolol – A botanical ingredient that is derived from chamomile to calm and soothe the skin.
• Vitamin E – Provides the skin with an antioxidant boost and protects it from free radicals.

The peel is applied in-clinic and washed off by the patient at home eight hours later or after overnight wear. Four-hour wear is recommended for those with sensitive skin. The peel does not discolour skin, however patients will experience moderate flaking for up to five days as the old, dull layer of skin sheds. Best results appear after four weeks and a course of four peels is recommended.
