Coolsculpting celebrates 10 year anniversary

CoolSculpting®, a  treatment for reducing stubborn fat^3,4,5[i] is celebrating 10 years² since receiving market approval in 30 countries.[ii]

The device, which helps reduce stubborn fat^3,4,5[iii] that can be difficult to shift, even with diet and exercise, is now available in 74 countries⁶ and 5,000 clinics worldwide.⁷ 

CoolSculpting^® targets commonly-sited areas of concern[iv], such as the abdomen, flanks, thighs and double chin, removing treated fat cells for good⁵[v]. Over 7 million treatments⁶ have been completed worldwide*.

According to data from the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, 86% (N=3,525) of consumers are bothered by excess body fat, listing this as the number one aesthetic concern⁸[vi].

Separate research, funded by Allergan, indicates particular concerns with fat found on the abdominal area and flanks – commonly known as love handles.⁹Furthermore, 3 in 4 men and women have said they are interested in losing fat using methods as well as diet and exercise.⁹
