Top accolades for UK and Irish practitioners and brands at global aesthetic awards
The Global Aesthetic Awards hosted by MyFaceMyBody took place this week for the first time as a virtual event via a live stream from Las Vegas and the UK and Ireland scooped some major wins.
Dr Patrick Treacy, founder of Aielsbury Clinic Dublin was named Global Medical Aesthetic Practitioner of the Year as well as Medical Aesthetic Practitioner (UK), earning himself a spot in the Hall of Fame.
Martine Jarman from SkinGenius was awarded not only the title of UK Aesthetic Therapist of the Year but was also the global winner of the title.
The Clinetix Clinic based in Scotland also scooped a total of five gongs including Practice Team of the Year, Aesthetic Practice of the Year, Rising Star of the Year (Dr Paula Mann), Aesthetic Nurse of the Year (Sarah Gillies) and Practice Manager of the Year (Kelly Perkins-Dunning), which also secured them a place in the Hall of Fame.
Dr Victoria Manning and Dr Charlotte Woodward from River Aesthetics were the UK and global winners of Non-Surgical Makeover of the Year (Face) beating off stiff competition.
In the supplier categories, it was a good night for Alma Lasers’ UK distributor ABC Lasers who won Anti-Aging Treatment of the Year for Harmony ClearLift and New Product of the Year for Soprano Titanium.
Allergan also won New Treatment of the Year for Juvederm® Volux.
