Mums work with doctor to create Tancream SPF 50, instant bronzer and gradual self tan

Two mums from Yorkshire have teamed up with a doctor to create a new instant bronzer, SPF 50 and gradual tanner after one of them was diagnosed with aggressive skin cancer.

Gillian Robson and Katy Foxcroft developed Tancream after Gillian’s life imploded following her diagnoses. Turning a negative into a positive, the budding entrepreneurs teamed up and were determined to produce a sun lotion for safe body coverage with the added bonus of a rapid bronzer and luscious tan.

Along with Dr Jack Ferguson, a leading suncare expert, they developed the product which provides instant bronzing, gradual tanning and SPF 50 in one bottle. 

Consultant dermatologist Dr Hadi Abushaira said, "Gillian introduced  me to Tancream  and I really loved the concept of  this very effective SPF 50 and the premium feel of the lotion when applied to the skin and felt there was a huge market for it. Having worked on my own skin care range Vivderma, I know how much hard work goes into bringing a unique  to market."
