Daniel Hopkins appointed as chief executive of AlumierMD

Daniel Hopkins has been named chief executive of AlumierMD at a time of significant growth for the skincare company.

As AlumierMD sets its sights on further expansion within the medical aesthetic community, Hopkins will oversee the continued investment in AlumierMD’s USA operations. The new chief executive will also direct the brand’s series of European territory launches including Italy, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Switzerland, Poland, Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia in 2023 and beyond.

Hopkins has spent over a decade in the aesthetic sector. That includes several roles in Allergan’s commercial functions and latterly the International Business Consulting Group, supporting the strategic development of services in the EMEA and APAC regions.

AlumierMD’s new chief executive joined the business four years ago as managing director for its European operations. During that time, AlumierMD saw rapid revenue growth and territorial expansion in the professionally-dispensed skincare sector.

According to a press statement, the company shared over $20 million of eCommerce sales margins back to its partner clinics in 2022. It also focused on building long-term patient retention and protecting the revenues of professional practices from unauthorised online sales.
Similarly, the company has expanded its philanthropic efforts via the Alumier Foundation. Last year, a share of profits from the sale of speciality kits helped support over 500 students at the Nhlengelo primary school in South Africa.
