SmartMed announced as the exclusive UK and Ireland distributor of LIPOcel

SmartMed, a subsidiary of Healthxchange, will be the exclusive UK and Ireland distributor of the soon to be launched LIPOcel. LIPOcel is a state of the art non-invasive treatment for focal fat reduction and precision body contouring; treating the flanks, stomach, underarms, knees and back of thighs.

LIPOcel’s high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) destroys fat cells without damaging peripheral tissues resulting in circumferential reduction. The treatment is unique, due to its advanced and patented contact cooling system, which reduces the unit’s hand-piece surface temperature down to just five degrees. This lower temperature level minimises patient pain in epidermal and nerve areas, ensuring the skin’s surface is protected, while delivering higher energy precisely 1.3cm deep into the subcutaneous fat layer for optimum results.
