Speaker Spotlight: Dr Saleena Zimri
Dr Saleena Zimri will be joining the speaker faculty for Aesthetic Medicine North this month (Saturday June 28-Sunday June 29).
Dr Zimri will be speaking as part of SESSION 4: INJECTABLES THAT STIMULATE REGENERATION – IS THIS THE FUTURE? on the main clinical agenda. Taking place from 1pm-2pm, this session will focus on injectable treatments that stimulate the body’s own regenerative response. It will be chaired by Dr Daniel Sister and other speakers will include Anna Baker.
Dr Zimri will share her experience with Ellanse and discuss combination treatments for collagen stimulation.
Dr. Saleena Zimri is a GP with a special interest in Cosmetic dermatology. For the last 9 years she has directed and co-founded aesthetic skin and laser clinics Skin Doctor Clinics in Yorkshire with sites in Leeds and York. Having a large interest in cosmetic dermatology her main areas of focus are anti-ageing, skin and body contouring, especially using a combination treatment approach. She was one of the first practitioners in the North to offer tear trough treatments and has become an expert in this treatment area, treating hundreds of patients annually. Her work on this was recently published in the Daily Mail Online. Dr Zimri maintains roles as an internationally accredited aesthetic trainer and KOL for 2 large pharma companies, training doctors and nurses in the use of aesthetic treatments such as facial fillers and threads. She also runs her own in-house one to one aesthetics training academy.
Qualifications:
- MBChB University of Manchester.
- PgDip Diploma Practical Dermatology, Cardiff University.
- NHS dermatology experience
