Ellipse holds clinical workshop

Ellipse Medical held its first clinical conference to provide partners with advanced knowledge on particular treatment protocols on Wednesday, March 25.

The event showcased the introduction of the Ydun, standalone non-ablative fractional device and the multi-platform device of the Nordlys which boasts three various technologies and more than 20 applications.

The event featured several guest speakers including Dr Neil Walker, dermatologist at the Stratum Clinis, Dr Godfrey Town, LPA at GCG Healthcare, and Ellipse clinical experts from Denmark, Mike Bloxsome and Jens Petersen.

Dr Walker who has been an Ellipse user since 2015 and in the past been involved in many clinical presentations and case studies, spoke about his experiences with the Ellipse Frax 1550 handpiece and gave a detailed insight on tips and user information on the non-ablative treatment protocol.

The event also featured the introduction of the new Frax Perfect Pout treatment, which plumps lips, re-hydrates fine lines and boosts non-invasive lip blushing.

Bloxsome and Petersen then expanded on their skills with the Ellipse Nd:Yag with soft cool and the combination of SWT with the Ellipse short pulse wavelength for vascular treatments.

Ellipse partners left with new in-depth knowledge on the brand's protocols and devices.
