Aesthetics Interventional Cosmetics inaugural Board Meeting, Royal Society of Medicine

Luminaries from the world of cosmetic medicine and surgery gathered together at the Royal Society of Medicine recently to formalise a board structure and educational strategy for future meetings of the Aesthetics: Interventional Cosmetics Meetings. The meeting was attended by past and present faculty members and Dr Christopher Rowland-Payne presided as chairman.

These aesthetics meetings have fostered an inclusive multi-disciplinary approach for many years and as a result the event has grown in stature as an excellent interactive and educational meeting for all involved in the cosmetic medicine and surgery field.

There was a real buzz about the future of the event and Dr Patrick Treacy proposed the brainchild behind the concept, Dr Rowland-Payne, as the inaugural president. This was supported unaminously. Other elected board members include Mr Jonathon Britto, Dr Patrick Treacy, Dr Beatriz Molina, Mr Ash Mosahebi, Prof Harry Judodihardjo, Mr Paul Banwell & Dr Uliana Gout. A UK and International Advisory Committee was also elected including Dr Kate Goldie, Mr Dalvi Humzah (social media), Dr Vikram Swaminanthan,Dr Hugues Cartier, Mr Niall Kirkpatrick, Dr Koenraad de Boulle, Dr Wolfgang Redka-Swoboda, Dr Luigi Polli and Dr Alain Tenenbaum.
