Aesthetics training academy opens in Liverpool

Facethetics, a new training provider specialising in aesthetic treatments, has opened two sites in Warrington and Liverpool.

It offers courses divided into “medical” and “skin” categories dependent on entry requirements. Botulinum toxin and dermal filler training is only available to medical professionals, while others such as skin peels and microneedling can be undertaken by therapists with Level 2 and 3 qualifications.

The company also offers PRP courses, otherwise known as a “vampire facial”. Staff include training coordinator Alison Stananought, who has 13' years experience in the beauty and aesthetic industries, and medical director and head educator Yvonne Senior, an aesthetic nurse with a background in the NHS.
