BCAM conference to take place this month

The British College of Aesthetic Medicine (BCAM) will host its annual meeting in London this month.

This year’s event will be held at the Church House Conference Centre in London on Saturday September 24. BCAM is the responsible body for aesthetic medicine and manages appraisals for aesthetic doctors.

This year’s speaker lineup on the main conference programme includes Mr Rajiv Grover, Prof Syed Haq, Dr Uliana Gout, Dr Amanda Wong-Powell, Dr Lucy Glancey, Dr Ravi Jain, Dr Xavier Goodarzian, Dr Sangita Singh, Dr Omar Aziz and Dr Bhojani-Lynch. Topic will include: red flag patients; skin cancer; anatomy of the cheek, tear trough and lid cheek junction – how to inject safely and avoid complications; non-surgical versus surgical blepharoplasty” (group discussion & live demo).

A business workshop programme will also be running with speakers including Ron Myers and Martyn Roe (The Consulting Room), Gary Conroy (5 Squirrels), Dr Paul Myers (Appraisal Clinical Lead), Dr Philip Dobson (Responsible Officer) and Holly Markham (Vantage Insurance). Topics will cover: how well is my business doing?; packages for increased patient loyalty; charity marketing and radio advertising; how to enjoy your appraisal; revalidation and appraisal – the legal stuff and taking control of risk management.
