Beautician known as the “Lip King” dies a year after arrest linked to mum-of-five’s death following a BBL

Jordan James Parke, otherwise known as the “Lip King”, passed away on the 18th February 2026.

His family shared tributes across social media, saying there are “no words to explain the sadness and heartbreak" and that “the world feels so empty without you.”

The beautician rose to internet stardom following his appearances on American TV show Botched and daytime TV shows, including This Morning.

Jordan was a Kim Kardashian fanatic and underwent cosmetic surgery over 50 times.

Following Parke’s death a 43-year-old man and a 52-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of manslaughter and bailed, pending further information.

Currently, Parke’s death is being treated as unexplained, and a full investigation is ongoing.

Officers are reviewing information suggesting the victim may have been undergoing a cosmetic procedure prior to his death. This is the initial stage of the enquiry, and officers are awaiting the results of a post-mortem examination.

His death comes over a year after his arrest on suspicion of manslaughter, following mother-of-five, Alice Webb’s death after she underwent a Brazilian Bum Lift (BBL) in Parke’s clinic.

Alice Webb fell ill after undergoing a BBL procedure, and she passed away on the 24th September 2024. Alice’s death marked the first death following a BBL treatment in the UK.

Following Alice’s death, Parke and a second suspect were arrested on suspicion of manslaughter. He remained on bail and was due to answer bail in March 2026.

Whilst on bail, Parke continued to practice – promoting weight loss products and teeth whitening kits.

The discussion around non-surgical cosmetic procedures is an ongoing debate in the UK, currently procedures including liquid BBL’s are not covered by regulation, meaning anyone can administer highly complicated and dangerous treatments, without medical or specialist qualifications.

It is these regulatory gaps that allow inexperienced and untrained individuals to deliver complicated procedures and allow tragic complications to follow.

Industry response

Expert witness and Lead nurse at Aesthetika Clinic in Sheffield, Cheryl Barton shared,”It is with real sadness that I read about the death of Mr Jordan James Parke.

“My condolences go out to his loved ones and also to the family, friends, and loved ones of Alice Webb.

“Two young adults who entered the aesthetic sector as “Practitioners” are now deceased.

“This goes way beyond what happened on the fateful day of their deaths, we need a thorough investigation into why those outside of healthcare have been given unlimited access to perform such interventions on the general public and I am calling on all Local Authorities in England to prohibit these so called “ BBL” injections, unless they are performed by Plastic Surgeons within CQC registered premises.”
