Caroline Van Hove appointed as vice president and managing director of Allergan Medical EAME

Allergan Medical EAME has announced the promotion of Caroline Van Hove to vice president and managing director. Van Hove takes over from Raj Narayanan who has been promoted to corporate vice president and president, Allergan Asia Pacific.

In her previous role as senior marketing director, facial aesthetics and then medical aesthetics (facial and breast), Van Hove was the driving force behind several of Allergan’s key initiatives including the “Quality Is Key” campaign, designed to restore consumer confidence in medical aesthetic treatments in the wake of the PIP breast implant crisis, and the establishment of the Allergan Medical Institutes and the expansion of consumer education programs across Europe.

Van Hove started working for Allergan in Europe 12 years ago and was involved with the original launches for VISTABEL® in Europe, BOTOX® Cosmetic in the United States, as well as the initial global launch of Juvéderm and the re-launch of silicone breast implants back into the US market. She will now be responsible for the business performance of Allergan’s fast growing Facial Aesthetics portfolio and well as breast implant businesses across Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
