ConceptoMed and Pennine Healthcare announce distribution agreement
ConceptoMed has entered into an exclusive distribution agreement with Pennine Healthcare, one of the UK's leading privately owned manufacturer of single use, sterile medical devices and custom procedure packs, to launch and sell the Luer-Jack syringe in 10 countries in Europe and the Middle East Region.
The agreement commercialises the new and innovative medical syringe Luer-Jack, and is the first major distribution agreement for the Norwegian Medtech start-up company ConceptoMed.
Pennine Healthcare have gained exclusive right for the marketing, distribution and sale of the Luer-Jack syringe in the UK, Ireland, Israel, United Arab Emirates, Jordan, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, Saudi Arabia and Lebanon.
This distribution agreement builds upon ConceptoMed’s commitment to pursue global distribution, and to offer an innovative addition to the traditional medical disposable syringe worldwide.
Luer-Jack’s Precise Disconnection PowerTM mechanism enables the syringe operator to safely dispose of the needle through a one-hand non-recapping needle procedure, and thereby reduce the risks of needlestick injuries. Using only one hand safeguards aseptic technique and will become a vital part of the on-going struggle to reduce the occurrence of hospital- acquired-infections.
