The most popular new treatment of 2017 - Feminine Rejuvenation
Feminine Rejuvenation including their FemiLift and FemiTight and Smooth was the most popular new treatment of 2017. In October 2016 EF MediSpa launched the FemiLift - the newest innovation in non-invasive vaginal tightening, since February 2017 they carried out 35 procedures, all of which have seen fantastic results.
Trend and Treatment Forecase
Pre-juvenation
As younger women and men look to non-surgical treatments to prevent ageing EF MediSpa predict this trend will continue to grow. With target markets ever changing and whilst remaining focus heavily on the anti-ageing market, EF MediSpa have addressed the need to adapt as younger people are investing in treatment plans and educating themselves on intelligent skincare. Treatments such as QuickLift, LED Luminous Lift, Peels and Botox & fillers are increasingly popular with the younger market.
Tweakments
Face remodelling & re-shaping. EF MediSpa have seen a high demand for remodelling and re-shaping with the use of fillers and Botox.
Intimate Rejuvenation.
The huge demand Intimate Rejuvenation is extremely apparent since EF MediSpa launched their FemiLift and they envisage the market to grow. FemiLift is a safe, non-surgcial option to tighten and rejuvenate the feminine area. With thanks to modern day media, women are less embarrassed to discuss feminine issues.
Hormone Treatments.
Hormone’s are already a big trend and something that women are looking to understand more. With a focus on hormones being the cause for many problems such as bad skin, tiredness, infertility, mood swings, menopause and pre-menopause, hormones effect women at all ages. EF MediSpa have teamed up with their in-house female gynaecologist to launch a Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Treatment, to help women better understand their hormones and what their bodies may need to re-align.
Men in the Mix.
They have also seen an increase in men opting for procedures, which could be related to the boom in social media and the rise of the metrosexual man. Social media and the fairly new world of online influencers and celebrity engagement allows men to be more open minded and has allowed the industry to tap into the male market, perhaps educating men on treatments that they didn’t know were possible. There is more pressure on men to look their best and to feel good about themselves, and subsequently, there is less stigma around men having treatments and tweakments. EF MediSpa predict the popularity in male treatments to continue to grow.
Expert Knowledge.
‘New data released by the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS) stated that four in five surgeons have recorded a rise in revisions for botched cosmetic procedures’ (aestheticsjournal.com). There is a rise in not only botched cosmetic procedures, but under qualified aestheticians treating people and causing harm such as burns from lasers or peels that have been left on too long. Over the past year, the naming and shaming of bad work has increased on social media, and consequently people are becoming more cautious about the clinics and experts they see.
