Ellipse introduces treatment for scars and stretchmarks

Ellipse is introducing the Frax 1550 for the Nordlys fractional non-ablative laser to treat rough skin texture, stretch marks, acne and surgical scars.

The Frax 1550 allows practitioners to control both width and depth of the thermal penetration and thereby get great treatment results. The technology also allows pulse time and energy to be set independently when treating with Frax 1550, thereby controlling the thermal penetration of the skin. The integrated Ellipse SoftCoolTM system makes sure that the patients experience less pain during and after the treatment. The use of Frax 1550 does not require the use of any consumables. The unique motion roller can easily be detached for disinfection between use.

A clinical study on non-ablative skin resurfacing with Frax 1550 done by Dr Victor Ross in the US which showed a clear improvement of ageing facial skin with short downtime and minimal side effects, even half way through treatment.

“Nordlys is one of the best engineered systems on the market, and the novel Frax 1550 rolling fractional 1550nm laser device offers important improvement of ageing facial skin with short downtime.” Dr Ross said.
