European Standard approved for publication

A document outlining European-wide standards for aesthetic surgery has been given the stamp of approval, the European Committee for Standardisation (CEN) and British Standards Institution (BSI) has announced.

The Aesthetic Surgery Services document was originally due to be published in June 2014 after a successful Europewide vote. However an appeal against the positive vote was lodged by one member state and had to be considered by the CEN Technical Board (CEN/BT).
