Face Ltd partners with Euromedicom

International medical aesthetic conference organiser EuroMediCom is to enter the UK market via a strategic alliance with FACE Ltd.

The deal between the two companies was announced following this year’s FACE meeting at the QEII Conference Centre in London. The first move will be to merge the BODY conference, which is usually held in November, with FACE, which will take place on June 4-7, 2015.

EuroMediCom has a global portfolio of events including the AMWC Monaco, ICAD BRAZIL, Aesthetics Asia, AMEC Paris, AMWC Latin America and AMWC Eastern Europe.

Simon Haroutunian events executive for FACE Ltd said the collaboration with EuroMediCom will allow FACE to continue to grow. He commented, “This is an incredible opportunity to ensure that the standard of the conferences is maintained at the highest possible level across Europe and beyond. It felt like the right time for FACE. We have grown massively since being held at the Royal College of Physicians and are extremely proud of what we have achieved. We look forward to our new partnership with EuroMediCom and the future of the brand.” Haroutunian and FACE Ltd director Raffi Eghiayan will continue to run things on the ground in the UK.

Haroutunian added, “Raffi and I will still be looking after the commercial side but we now have the additional infrastructure and support that an international conference organiser like EuroMediCom provides. Our vision has always been to take FACE to the next level, so this is an exciting time.”
