Fagron UK launches unique genetic test for hair loss

Fagron UK, part of the Fagron Group, has launched a unique genetic test for hair loss. Fagron TrichoTest™ analyses a patient's DNA and lifestyle factors to determine the cause of a patient’s hair loss and recommend the most compatible treatment options.

The test analyses 3 polymorphisms within 16 DNA mutations (SNPs), analysing a total of 48 genetic variations.

Detecting SNPs facilitates the understanding of specific characteristics of the metabolism of a patient that are related to hair loss.
