Harley Academy adds psychology module to its training programme
Harley Academy has joined forces with the University of the West of England (UWE) and the Centre for Appearance Research (CAR) to offer a new psychology module to its Level 7 course in Injectables for Aesthetic Medicine.
The Principle of Psychology Applied to Aesthetic Practice module aims to raise the standard of specialist psychological care delivered in medical aesthetics, which they believe there to be a lack of in vocational botulinum toxin and dermal filler courses.
CEO of Harley Academy, Dr Tristan Mehta, said, “Psychological health is of equal importance as physical health in aesthetic medicine. It is important that the new Level 7 graduates are equipped to deal with this to the highest standard possible in the world.”
