Help Smile Trust visits Ghana

A team of plastic surgeons, including Mr Shailesh Vadodaria and breast surgeon Mr Sanjay Baldota from the UK, have travelled to a rural part of Ghana as part of charity work for the Help Smile Trust and Motec. The doctors saw approximately 150 patients who required plastic, reconstructive and breast surgery during their stay at general hospitals in Keta and Akosombo over a period of 10 days. They performed around 40 procedures, including operations on children who had congenital hand, upper and lower limb deformities.
