IBSA Derma hosted their the very first exclusive HA-Derma UK Practitioner event

IBSA Farmaceutici Itailia, the manufacturer of new and innovative hyaluronic acid (HA) based products, including Profhilo® and Aliaxin®, held a dedicated two day event for the first time for UK distributer HA-Derma in Naples together with a visit to Capri, an island in Italy’s Bay of Naples.
Dedicated for the first time to HA-Derma clients - a selection of practitioners from UK and Ireland were invited for an exclusive visit to Altergon where they were able to learn about the IBSA products, the unique technology, as well as gain a first-hand look at the revolutionary production methods which enables IBSA to offer game-changing products for the aesthetic industry like Profhilo®, Aliaxin and viscoderm® Hydrobooster.
On the first day, attendees were able to meet Professor Chiara Schiraldi, from the 2nd Univeristy of Naples - the scientist behind the IBSA innovation in HA technology, as well as attend her educational presentation on the discovery and formulation of the NAHYCO technology, and its implementation in the Profhilo® bio-remodelling product. The novel and revolutionary BDDE-free, thermally stable Profhilo® product distinguishes itself from other HA injectables due to its hybrid nature and the product contains a unique combination of high and low molecular weight HA, which generates a dual action incorporating hydration and tissue stimulation, alongside dermal scaffold support.
This event also provided a comprehensive understanding of the Aliaxon portfolio together with a preview of the new Aliaxon product launching the AW2019.
A tour of Altergon was included in the schedule and here attendees were able to see how the raw hyaluronic acid material is manufactured to the specific IBSA patents and included access to the sterile environment to see and experience first hand the 'journey' of the unique ‘HA' which enables the IBSA HA based products to retain market leading positions globally.
