La Belle Forme and The Skin Clinic join forces

Glasgow-based company La Belle Forme, which was founded by cosmetic surgeon Taimur Shoaib, merged with The Skin Clinic last week.

The Skin Clinic's founder Dr Johanna Ward will remain as the company's medical director and lead cosmetic doctor at the two clinics in Sevenoaks, Kent, and Brentwood, Essex.

The Skin Clinic, which like La Belle Forme is a multi award-winning company, will retain its name and all staff at the clinics. This includes TV's Dr Hilary Jones who consults at the Sevenoaks clinic.

Dr Ward said, "We are delighted to have joined forces with La Belle Forme. It means that as well as retaining all our original staff and treatments, we will now be able to offer our clients an even wider range of services than ever."

The Skin Clinic will now offer a full cosmetic surgery service with some of the UK's top cosmetic surgeons, including Mr Shoaib who was recently named at Scotland's top plastic surgeon at the Cosmetic Medical Awards.

Mr Shoaib trains and lectures other surgeons and medical professionals all over the world, and invented the needle-free vampire facelift, a tecnique which is now used globally.

They will also expand the laser treatments on offer, and introduce a broader range of face and body contouring procedures using the latest technology. This will include Ultherapy and Indiba which uses ultrasound technology for face and body tightening.

Dr Nestor Demosthenous will also be joining the team, providing Silhouette Soft treatments.

Mr Shoaib said, "I am very excited to be working with Dr Ward who is truly an expert in her field. Our merger means that we will be able to expand our range of services to clients at all the clinics, both in Scotland and England.

Mr Shoaib is one of the UK's leading plastic surgeons and also consults at Harley Street in London and in Edinburgh and Aberdeen.

La Belle Forme is Scotland's most successful private cosmetic surgery company, with its main practice in Glasgow, but with satellite clinics in Edinburgh and Aberdeen.

The Skin Clinic was founded in Sevenoaks in 2011 by Dr Johanna Ward. Following its success, she later opened another clinic in Brentwood in 2013.
