Lumenis launch LightSheer Desire Light laser

The latest addition to Lumenis’s portfolio of lasers, the LightSheer Desire Light device is for hair removal and uses an 805nm diode wavelength, which is safe to use on any skin type. There are two spot sizes that salons and clinics can choose for the treatment head. The device also uses Lumenis’s trademarked ChillTip technology, which cools the skin before treatment through a mechanism that’s applied to the treatment area before the laser. This not only means greater comfort for the client but also the compression of the skin brings the hair follicles closer to the surface for greater efficacy.
