Mobile diagnostic devices for skin and hair analysis launched

APM mobile diagnostic deviceThe APM range of mobile diagnostic devices for professional skin and hair analysis is now available in the UK via Cambridge Stratum. The models allow the practitioner to give their patients a truly visual experience and guide them through IRtheir bespoke treatment plan, as well as recommend suitable products to meet their skin and hair needs.

The APM-100 skin analyser measures the below parameters using x30 magnification and VCM auto and manual focusing to measure moisture, sebum, pores, melanin, acne, wrinkles and sensitivity.

The APM-200 hair analyser comes with interchangeable lenses with VCM auto and manual focusing. The device measures the below parameters using magnification from X60 up to X1000 for hair loss type, scalp status, hair density, keratin of scalp, exposure of scalp’s vessel, hair pore status, hair thickness and cuticle status.

The results can be viewed on the practitioner’s own device as well on screen on the skin analyser itself. It is compatible with desktop, iPad or smartphone via mirror imaging.

These can then be shared with the client by email and the before and after images are saved to the customer’s profile, allowing the practitioner to show skin improvements after a course of treatments.
