Natura Studios Announce Level 4 Dermapen Microneedling Course

Natura Studios has announced the launch of a level four Dermapen Medical Needling course. The government accredited course covers all principles and forms of medical needling in relation to the Dermapen device.

Skin needling, also known as micro-needling therapy or collagen induction therapy, is a non-invasive non-surgical and non-ablative procedure for facial and body regeneration that involves the use of a needling device to create controlled skin injury.  The neovascularisation and neocollagenesis following treatment leads to reduction of scars and skin rejuvenation, i.e., improved skin texture, firmness and hydration.  

The Dermapen Medical Needling Course will cover topics such as the  history  and principles of micro needling, the layers of the skin, cellular histology – skin physiology, treatment targets and visual treatment responses, collagen maturation, acne, hyper and hypo pigmentation, treatment protocols, contraindications, recovery times and treatment protocols and procedures.

The course covers advanced anatomy and physiology of the skin which will help with ongoing treatment protocols across a variety of skin treatments.”

To qualify for the level 4 certification, candidates will need to provide two case studies in relation to the education taught during the training.

During the course, all post care is explained and any support, questions or concerns that need to be addressed following the training day will be answered by Natura Studios. The Dermapen Microneedling Course is also considered a preferred course from Hamilton Frazer insurance.
