NSCC opens new medical weight loss clinic with TOWIE star

The Only Way is Essex star James Argent will be the ambassador for a new medical weight loss clinic being opened by the National Slimming and Cosmetic Clinics (NSCC) in Basildon.

NSCC was first established over 30 years ago in Bournemouth and now has 27 clinics all over the country. The medical slimming treatment is at the heart of the clinic’s services and includes one-to-one doctor consultations on a weekly basis, where medication, designed to lessen the appetite, can be prescribed, alongside diet plans and food diaries, to ensure the patient sticks to the weight loss program and loses weight in the most effective and sensible way possible.

Director of the company Robert Houtman said, “As part of our rollout of new clinics, we are looking for vibrant areas with strong local economies. Basildon ticks all of the boxes for us and we are delighted to be launching our next new clinic here. We will be creating a number of new roles initially and will extend that further once the business is up and running properly. Those roles will all be recruited from the local area.”
