Out and about: AlumierMD Peptide Symposium, Chandos House, London

The prestigious Chandos House in London played host to the AlumierMD Peptide Symposium, with Dr Karl Litner. The multiple award-winning biochemist and chemical engineer spoke to an exclusive audience of industry experts on the increasingly prominent role peptides hold within skincare. 

During his career, Dr Lintner introduced the peptide concept to cosmetic applications including Palmitoyl Tripeptide- 38 (“MATRIXYL^®”) and has more than 10 years of research in biological peptides and more than 30 published papers in biochemistry and biophysics. 

Across the day Dr Litner covered a comprehensive exploration of the history, chemistry and biological functions of amino acids, peptides and proteins.
