Out and About: The Safety in Beauty Diamond Awards 2018 and Rainbow Ball

The aesthetic and beauty industries came together at The Grand Ballroom at The Montcalm Hotel, London, to celebrate yet another fantastic year of high-quality award entries and nominations for The Safety in Beauty Diamond Awards. An array of talented, dedicated and passionate professionals and brands were celebrated at the glamorous and prestigious annual award ceremony dubbed as the go-to summer calendar event of the year. 

Celebrity Guests including Ex Love Island personality Chyna Ellis, 80s model and singer Samatha Fox, and Kristina Rihanoff, from Strictly Come Dancing. Entertainment was provided by Brazilian Fantasy and X Factor finalist Anton Stephens. Funds raised were also donated to the Alex Lewis Trust. 

The winners were:

• Cosmetic Dentist/Clinic of the Year – Dr Andrew Dawood 

• Cosmetic Nurse of the Year – Constance Campion 

• Clinic of the Year – Sk:n Clinics 

• Beauty Business of the Year – Rachel Staggs Aesthetics 

• Training, Education and Professional Development Award For Medical Aesthetics – Avanti Aesthetics Academy 

• Training, Education and Professional Development Award For Professional Beauty – BABTAC 

• Beauty Industry Professional of The Year Award – Dawn Foreshaw 

• Award for Innovation and Pioneering Service – Polytech Implants by Q Medical 

• Best Combined Beauty & Aesthetics Industry Show/Conference or Exhibition of The Year 2018 – CCR Expo 

• Inspirational Person of the Year – A People’s Choice Award – Alex Lewis and Karen Betts 

• Outstanding Career Achievement (Lifetime Achievement Award) – Dr Hilary Jones
