What is the background of DEKA and what products do you offer? DEKA was founded in 1991 as an innovator in the production of lasers for aesthetics.
1998: Launch of first long pulse Nd:YAG laser
1999: Patent for Smartlipo as the first system available for laserlipolysis
2001: Introduction of the first pulsed light system with patented UPL technology
2004: Development of the first fractionated CO2 Smartxide system for DOT therapy and Madonna lift treatment
2010: Launch of first combined CO2 laser and RF, to include the skin tightening benefits of RF in a CO2 laser resurfacing treatment.
2016: Launch of completely reengineered all Alexandrite MOTUX AX hair removal system to treat all skin types in the shortest time, painlessly.

What is your most popular product and what do you think makes it popular? Smartxide fractional CO2 laser. DOT is the original and still the very best delivery method on the market.

What makes your products special over the competition? All products are manufactured in Italy to the very highest production and audited quality standards, providing unrivalled reliability. In addition as a dedicated laser company, innovation provides users with the very latest advances in technology, before any other manufacturer.

How cost effective are your products when introducing them into a practice? Lasers are not inexpensive, but with DEKA proven technology, retreatments are kept to a minimum, so cost effective for both the practice and the patient. In addition DEKA don't operate complex licensing agreements for use, adding unnecessarily to costs of use, and keep consumables to a minimum.

Do you provide any extra services, advice or training programmes for professionals who use your products in their practice? The DEKA exclusive representative in the UK Globe AMT Ltd have full workshop facilities and DEKA fully accredited engineers to support customers wherever they are in the country. Based on reference site agreements, users have the option to have peer to peer training in the UK, or factory based training in Florence, Italy.
