Restylane inspires brides to go for the ultimate beauty treatment before their big day

Galderma’s Restylane was a massive hit at the UK’s premier bridal beauty event – Condé Nast’s Brides Magazine’s Beauty Hub held in central London last month. Demand for complimentary consultations was so high that more than 100 brides waited patiently in line to ask Dr. Sandeep Cliff, Consultant Dermatologist, how they could give their skin that all-important glow for their big day.
“I’ve seen a huge surge in the number of people looking for aesthetic treatment before their wedding, and aesthetic procedures are now seen as an essential part of getting ready for the big day by many people,” said Dr. Sandeep Cliff, Consultant Dermatologist. “Lips are obviously big right now and most of the women I spoke to were looking to get the perfect pout for that first kiss, but there was also a lot of interest in a general refresh, smoothing lines and the décolletage, while some brides were looking for more defined cheeks. We also saw a lot of interest from mothers of the bride, bridesmaids and there were even questions about how grooms can look their best.”
With the average age of women getting married now tipping 34,1 people are turning to dermal fillers to get the youthful appearance that their parents had on their wedding day. Restylane has the biggest range in the dermal filler market, which means that the results can be tailored to the individual, from subtle natural looking results to more pronounced results for those looking for more lift and definition.
“The run up to a wedding is obviously important to people so it’s really important that we educate people on the whole Restylane range and how it can make them look and feel their best,” said David McCormick, Head of Marketing, Medical Solutions, Galderma UK Ltd. “To keep up the momentum we have a series of Restylane-focused editorials and advertorials lined up with OK! and Brides Magazine, coupled with bridal-focused posts and stories on Instagram and Facebook.”
