Harley Academy is a Virgin-Funded fast-growing training organisation in the world of aesthetic medicine. We are looking for a Sales and Marketing intern to join our young and dynamic team, working from cool collaborative working space in central London.  

 

We are a team of 7, with a variety of backgrounds including medicine, philosophy, education and surgery. Founded in late 2014 by Dr Tristan Mehta (a 26 year old doctor and entrepreneur), Harley Academy has been well received as a thought leader and has made significant steps to improve standards in medical aesthetics. Through adherence to our core brand values of professionalism, disruptive thinking and patient safety; education in this booming industry will never be the same.

 

Harley Academy is recruiting for an ambitious, outgoing and determined intern to join our team. No medical experience is required, but willingness to learn about the lucrative and exciting medical aesthetics sector will be critical. 

 

Harley Academy is a nationwide training initiative to support safer practice in cosmetic medicine, following new government recommendations. We train healthcare practitioners in medical aesthetics procedures according to the HEE recommendations. We can't wait to meet you!

• Persuasively manage enquiries and ensure existing clients are receiving excellent customer service
• Developing logistical strategies to improve client flow and improve client retention 
• Developing on existing marketing strategies with novel use of media available to us including medical journals, and through cosmetic industry bodies 
• Creatively approach blogging and social media 
• Participation in industry conferences both in the UK and abroad 
• Contribute to the company’s vision and how we can further disrupt an old-fashioned industry   

 

Person Specification:

Requirements: 

A 2:1 (or equivalent) from a leading university 

Detail-oriented and intelligent 

Ability to create, follow and execute plans 

Excellent copywriting ability 

Familiar with social media and ideally Wordpress 

Well presented and professional 

Ability and willingness to learn a niche fast-growing industry   

 

Desirable: 

Knowledge of the medical aesthetics sector 

 

Rewards: 

Intern salary of £1450/month, for 3 months, with scope to join as a full time employee

Potential for flexible working hours and work at home occasionally
