Sharon Stone unveils new Galderma campaign in Berlin
Sharon Stone has unveiled the natural-looking results of Restylane fillers and Restylane Skinboosters at a unique real-life event in Berlin, Germany.
The Galderma Proof in Real Life campaign launch event saw ten sets of identical twins (with eight pairs of participants from around the UK) take part in a unique challenge. One twin from each pair received a bespoke treatment plan which consisted of treatments with Restylane fillers, Restylane Skinboosters, or a combination of both. Over 100 of the world’s leading media and beauty representatives attended the unveiling hosted by Sharon Stone. The twins took part in a live reveal to demonstrate the natural-looking results first-hand and challenge the wide-spread misconception that aesthetic treatments create extreme results. Despite some initial scepticism from some of the twins, 100 per cent of those untreated are now considering treatments for themselves.
Commenting on her sister’s experience, untreated twin Zoe Spink, aged 62 from Yorkshire said, “I am very interested in skin care and have reached an age now where I feel I need a little help. I have seen my sister’s skin getting better and better so I cannot wait to begin my own treatment course.”
More than 23 million people underwent aesthetic treatments globally in 2013. Many more are curious but are concerned that such treatments can produce extreme and unnatural results.
James Martin, a 37-year-old musician from York, was one of the twins who received Restylane filler treatments and said, “I had never considered facial fillers and I was a bit worried they would dramatically alter my face. The experience has totally changed the way I view them; the results were subtle but made such a difference. Since seeing the results first hand, my twin brother, as well as many of my friends, are considering treatments.”
Global beauty and entertainment icon, Sharon Stone, signed on to the Proof in Real Life campaign to help Galderma challenge common misconceptions of aesthetic treatments. Sharon said, “It’s been a fascinating experience to follow the twins’ journeys and to be with them tonight as they showcase the results in real life. So many people are put off aesthetic treatments because of extreme images, and the Proof in Real Life campaign has provided results people have been able to see first-hand, giving them an opportunity to judge for themselves.”
Anne-Sophie Copin, Global Head of Skin Rejuvenation Aesthetics and Corrective at Galderma, said: “The aim of this campaign is to break down the current misconceptions of aesthetic treatments and show the subtle and natural-looking results of Restylane fillers and Restylane Skinboosters. The live event in Berlin provided the perfect platform to demonstrate these results in a real life format and will help to empower more people to make an informed decision when considering aesthetic treatments. We know people want to look the way they feel – and we believe this campaign proves they can with the help of Restylane’s natural-looking results.” To see the results of the “Proof in Real Life” campaign visit: ProofIRL.com/UK
