Four in 10 men say going bald is biggest cause of stress

Fear of going bald is the fourth biggest cause of stress for men, according to a survey by medical tourism company Longevita.

2,158 male respondents from around the world answered the Likert scale survey to reveal the leading cause of stress among men. 39% (almost four in 10) said the fear of going bald caused them the most stress.

Penis size was the top concern for 30%, while gaining weight was the biggest cause of stress for 18%.

The other, non-image related causes were “Watching their favourite sports team” (72%), “Financial situation” (68%), “Buying a property” (58%), “Asking someone on a first date” (36%), “Going on a first date” (27%), “Getting married” (24%) and “Losing your job” (20%).

A new trichology course launched in November at The College of Trichological Science and Practice.
