The Treatment Rooms London has expanded its team with the addition of hair transplant surgeon Dr Puroshini Pather, following an increase in demand for the clinic’s services.
The Treatment Rooms London, based in Putney, focuses on providing surgeon-led care for patients undergoing hair restoration treatments.
The clinic, co-founded by Dr Roshan Vara and Dr Dilan Fernando in 2016, offers support throughout the entire patient journey – from consultation to post-operative recovery.
The Treatment Rooms London won Hair Restoration Clinic of the Year at the Aesthetic Medicine Awards 2023.
The addition of Dr Puroshini Pather to the team brings further expertise to the clinic.
Dr Pather holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of St Andrews and an MBChB from the University of Manchester and gained full GMC registration in 2022.
Her experience in surgical and medical management aligns with the clinic’s commitment to patient care.
Speaking about her new role, Dr Pather said, “For both doctor and patient, hope is an act of defiance. My proud grandfather instilled in me that success comes from stepping towards a challenge, even if it is along a path less travelled.
“Entering the hair restoration surgical arena for my patients is a step towards that challenge.”
Dr Roshan Vara, co-founder of The Treatment Rooms London, highlighted the clinic’s growth over the past year, stating, “2024 showed some record-breaking numbers, and this expansion is a testament to the positive direction we’re moving in.
“Dr Puroshini’s extensive experience has been invaluable in promoting a relaxed atmosphere in the clinic, and she truly knows how to put the patient first.”
The clinic has reported a 30% increase in general surgery enquiries and a 200% rise in beard transplant procedures in the past year.
With Dr Pather joining the team, The Treatment Rooms London aims to continue providing comprehensive care to its patients while addressing the growing demand for hair restoration services.
