Aesthetic Nurse Software records more than £25m in revenue for UK aesthetic clinics

Data released by Aesthetic Nurse Software (ANS) has revealed how its software system has recorded business growth for aesthetic nurses.
The data, collated over 2021, showed that ANS generated 345,690 new appointments for UK aesthetic nurse-led clinics, with a total of £600,623 in deposits taken online from 128, 646 new patients. Even if each new patient only spent £200 across the whole year, that’s a whopping £25,729,200 being contributed to the UK aesthetics market’s revenue stream.
What’s more, deposit-taking has helped safeguard lost revenue from no-shows. This is particularly pertinent right now as many practitioners are experiencing cancellations and no-shows due to the pandemic.
“Deposits can reduce the number of no-shows but also protect the practitioner from late cancellations because they have taken some money upfront to secure the appointment slot. So their time isn’t completely wasted”, says Jo Hayward, aesthetic nurse and founder of ANS.
As well as helping clinics generate new business, appointments and revenue, the system also sent out 389,210 secure forms or patients to fill out pre-treatment, saving practitioners time in clinic and streamlining appointments.
“Saving time and taking away the repetitive, time-consuming admin tasks that practitioners spend their evenings and weekends catching up on allows them to focus on marketing or other ways to grow their patient base”, adds Hayward. “It also gives them the confidence that they can take on more patients or reduce their hours in the NHS because they can see that their business is growing, instead of being stuck in the head-down, day-to-day jobs that need doing.”
