Aesthetic Response Gain GDPR Management Standard Accreditation

Following the introduction of updated Data Protection Regulation in May of this year, Aesthetic Response are the 15th UK company to gain certification in compliance with the requirements of the QG-GDPR Management Standard, having initially secured Cyber Essentials accreditation.

With 1 in 4 businesses suffering a Cyber attack in the last year according to QG Management Standards, Aesthetic Response have made clinic, patient and employee data protection a priority. Handling up to 800 clinic calls a day, as a multi award winning support partner to aesthetic practices, their patient consultation and treatment appointment booking support puts them at the forefront in managing patients’ personal details.

Aesthetic Response’s Compliance Director, Carla Gilbert, has been leading AR’s system and process development and implementation and says of their new accreditation
“Working towards the GDPR Fundamentals certification has been very rewarding. With the support of our security experts, Selcom and their GDPR certified practitioner, Walter McLean, we have been able to scrutinise each aspect of our business to strengthen policies and procedures while also creating a solid base for future analysis and development. Combined with our on-going investment in systems and technology, this has given confidence to both our clients and our employees that Aesthetic Response are always pro-active in safeguarding the personal data we process.”
