Black Skin Directory to launch in 2018

In a 2017 survey of women of colour, 92% experienced difficulties in finding skincare professionals with relevant experience in darker skin tones. These challenges were the inspiration for the launch of a new free online portal – the Black Skin Directory – which is launching in 2018.
Founded by aesthetician and beauty writer Dija Ayodele, the site is designed to facilitate easier access for consumers to aesthetic professionals experienced in treating darker skin tones. It will also highlight suitable aesthetic treatments and products for women of colour.
