Clinics and beauty salons can open from Monday

The Government has just announced that beauty business, including aesthetic and cosmetic clinics, can re-open from Monday July 13 but subject to some restrictions for particularly "high risk" activities.

This could mean that while body treatments can begin, facial treatments will remained banned for the time being. 

The annoucement was made at the Downing Street press conference earlier this evening by UK Culture Secretary Oliver Dowden. 

The news comes after weeks of confusion about whether or not clinics were able to start treating patients again if the procedures were aesthetic.
